Travel Insurance

We take trek safety very seriously. Therefore, it is compulsory for all trekkers trekking the Kokoda Trail with us to take out travel insurance with our preferred insurer, QBE Insurance. QBE’s “International Travel Plan C” qualifies trekkers for important insurance benefits such as hospitalisation and immediate Medical Evacuation and Repatriation out of the Kokoda Trail and PNG in the event of emergency.

It is therefore paramount that our trekkers take out travel insurance with QBE Insurance in order to cover emergency services rendered by Omega Medical Team.

Public Liability Insurance

Kokoda Trail Expeditions holds a General and Public Liability Insurance with Liberty International Underwriters that cover our trekkers in case of an accident on the trek that results in permanent disability. You are welcome to contact us to ask for the details of this insurance.
